BE WARNED, PARENTS: My Son's '6-Day' Glasses Took 19 Days & 2 Hours on Hold 😡
I'm writing this review as a warning to other parents. My experience was beyond frustrating. I Ordered a pair of eyeglasses for my son. They claim they ship in 6 days. don,'t believe it. Finally in 15 days later they ship "expedited and 4 days later still no glasses and you can't even get a expedited delivery date due to their slower than snail mail shipping company. Spend a few more dollars and get your glasses anywhere else. I had to call customer service to get some answers, but that was its own ordeal. Plus their phone service is even worse. 2 hours to get someone and they handed me the same bull that I received in emails "we will look into it". After finally getting through, this was our conversation.
Customer: I've been on hold for two hours. My son's "expedited" order from 19 days ago is still nowhere to be found. Can you tell me where it is?
CS Rep: I am incredibly sorry for your wait time and the delay with your order. That is completely unacceptable. Can I please have your order number to check the status immediately?
Customer: It's 58295B. I've heard you'll "look into it" before. I need a real answer now, not another empty promise.
CS Rep: Thank you. I see the package here. There was a processing delay at our lab which I sincerely apologize for. It is now in transit and I see the carrier's system shows it will be delivered in two days. For the trouble, I am refunding your expedited shipping fee right now.
Customer: Fine, refund the fee. But this experience has been terrible. You’ve lost a customer.
CS Rep: I completely understand your frustration, and I am truly sorry we failed to meet your expectations. The refund has been processed on my end.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
