Beware! I'm sharing my terrible online shopping experience to hopefully save you from the same frustration. I ordered glasses from Glasses USA on March 30th and desperately needed them because my old pair broke, so I paid for express shipping, promising delivery in 3-5 days. But day 5 rolled around, and they were still in production. Day 10, still nothing! By day 11, I called to demand a shipping refund because these glasses were STILL 6 days out from delivery. I mean, it's day 19 now, and I still have no glasses! It's absolutely terrible, and I felt compelled to contact customer service to understand why I was ripped off and left without my vision.
Customer: I ordered glasses weeks ago, on March 30th, and paid for express shipping. It's now April 18th, and I still don't have them! What's going on? CS Rep: I apologize for the significant delay, sir. I see your order for express shipping. It appears there was an unexpected production backlog. We've already processed a refund for your express shipping fee. Customer: A refund for shipping is nice, but I needed these glasses quickly because my old ones broke. I paid extra for 3-5 day delivery, and it's been nearly three weeks! When will they actually arrive? CS Rep: I completely understand your frustration. Your glasses are currently in the final stages of quality control and are expected to ship within the next 2-3 business days. You should receive them early next week. Customer: So, another week? This is ridiculous! You've completely failed on the express shipping promise. I just want my glasses. This is truly the worst experience.
