A Cautionary Tale: Delays, Excuses, and Zero Communication 😤
I'm writing this as a warning about the absolute runaround I got. My frustration peaked after waiting far too long with zero updates from the company. They state 3-6 business days for production, so on business day 9 with no notification I text them and they apologized and refunded my shipping charge. On the very next morning I received an email that it will be in production 3-6 more days which tells me they have not even started them. And good luck trying to talk to a person… it will not happen. This blatant delay is what forced me to finally get a hold of customer service to cancel everything.
Customer: My order is three days past its production window and I just got an email saying it needs another 3-6 days. Have you even started making my glasses?
CS Rep: I am so sorry for this unexpected delay and the confusing communication. Let me look into your order immediately. Can I have your order number?
Customer: It’s 12345. I already got a shipping refund, but that's not the point. You've wasted over a week of my time. I just want to cancel.
CS Rep: I completely understand your frustration. I have located your order and processed the cancellation and a full refund for you. I sincerely apologize for the experience.
Customer: Fine. I've already found a better deal with another company. Thank you for wasting my time.
CS Rep: I'm very sorry we let you down. Your refund is confirmed and should post to your account within 5 business days.
